Neo-folk man/woman duo with origins in Doom/Ambient. Death in June, Current 93 clamor from their half-buried coffins to mind. What happens when a Nordic black metal band gets banished to the woods and emerge years later after building their own instruments and getting singing pointers from Gollum. In this case being from Massachusetts the woods they were living in were the haunts of heavily armed militias. In another world this would be simple roots folk but with our rich history of Black Metal, the sound is obvious, especially with her vocals. Excellent stuff.

1) (4:30) euro style folk goth, current 93. 2) (4:33) upbeat galloping with Gollum vocals 3) (6:11) slow strummy guitar with pained vocs 4) (4:15) strummy again, violin joins 5)* (5:10) cool droney bass, whistle thing, drum. 6)* (7:25) pained strings, long bowing, a drum - death march, drum becoming pounding and the vocals appear with extra pain 7) (2:56) simple guitar strumming returns
