Elegant and complex electronic compositions. Vivid and unpredictable. The eighth studio album from legendary Brazilian producer Amon Tobin, who released mindbending classics like Bricolage and Supermodified in the late 90s and early 00s. Unlike his previous albums, this work seems much more liberated—songs are airier, less sample-based, and often forgo a steady, dependable beat in favor of a loosely-knit fabric of abstract percussive patterns. RIYL: Objekt, Pearson Sound, Aphex Twin, Pariah, Pangea. All tracks FCC Clean. Try 1, 4, 6, or 7

(*1.) (3:36) Resonating, wandering, majestic. Shimmering chimes with heavy effects (2.) (4:18) Rimshot drumming, chopped up acoustic guitar loops, gentle humming (3.) (3:09) Tinkling, crystalline (*4.) (4:50) Slow-building, wispy, serene (5.) (3:22) Staticky, buzzing, chaotic (*6.) (7:47) Extended extraterrestrial electronic suite. Experimental and free-flowing (*7.) (3:12) Dreamy and washed-out with blurry, indistinguishable vocals and subtle piano (8.) (2:13) Metallic clanging and short synthesizer stabs (9.) (3:55) Blippy, cascading, mysterious. Squelchy SOPHIE vibes (10.) (4:19) Slow, glowing, subtly sinister
