I would not call this a remake but more a homage to GZA’s ‘Liquid Swords’ D’Angelo kicks it off with harmonic rendering of GZAs opening bars on Liquid Swords which also serves as the hook. The music also pulls from original track with the incorporation of the sample sample with some new twists. Rapsody sounds like she is right at home on this with crisp lyrics. And to punctuate it, GZA rounds it out with a verse (all new lyrics). If you are a Wu Tang fan this is a must. – M-SMOOTH
