Japanese stalwart heavy noise rock outfit, has been around at least 20 years, collaborated with the likes of Sunn((0))) et al. Past recordings were on the side of heavy crazed rock but this is heavy only on the long form trippiness, space rock, which is grrrrr-eat.

1) (7:37) very mellow almost atomospheric, some good noise here in there but mostly mellow 2)* (7:48) good noise balm, hypnotic. 3)* (16:30) starts on quiet side but then launches into a rather epic almost tribal onslaught jam that lasts 4 minutes, quiets down dramatically into a downtempo slow paced, evolves into a soaring space rock that gains elements of post-rock, noise elements, found sound’ing stuff 4) (8:31) fantastic noise guitar symposium, with drums, dark and epic, early Earth comes to mind, grows heavier and heavier. 5) (6:47) another masterpiece of noise guitar balm, bendy, drums lend heavy plodding deep head nodding beat, soaring guitar leads add melody 6) (3:41) beautiful, gorgeous, chill guitar layers looping of loveliness, with subtle drums, cymbals 7)** (11:24) big deep heaviness beyond epic apocalyptic
