Chill dark hazey psych slathered rock from Minnesota. Fans of Can, Wooden Shjips, Lumerians, Spiritualized will love (especially the Can fans). Tasteful use of synths, sax, female backing vocals. Great rhythms, often including the early Korg drum machine that typified Can et al., finger snaps. Great band. Do. Not. Miss. !!

1) (0:48) ambient spacey bells, intro 2) (3:14) instrumental, very Can, tribal Korg rhythm synths. 3) (6:14) laid back chill, includes sax, female vocal backs. 4) (4:02)** super cool beat, bass, echoey sax, love this. 5) (4:14) Korg drum machine, deeply trippy, Can jamming at the bottom of Lake Superior 6)* (6:09) very quiet fade in, with treated fender Rhodes, dark hazey chill to the point of floating in space, ladies and gentlemen, incongruous sax outtro thats a lead-in to next, play together? 7)* (4:19) Comes out of previous with sax, like track 4 great beat, almost driving, close to “rockin” 8)** (5:34) cool tom tom beat, totally taking Can to another dimension, finger snaps really capture this one, don your go go boots and tear off your mask because this is The Best of the Plague. 9) (3:30) simple kick/snare beat, layered synths, whispery vocs, like a nice orange slice to set you down gently.
