Dense shoegaze with black metal influences (“blackgaze”), self-described as “loud heavy pretty noises.” At their recent show opening for Deafheaven they brought the house down. Their lead vocalist, Ryan Osterman, used to be part of The Maine, my favorite band, and it looks like he’s switched up pop punk for shoegaze. Favorites: 1, 3 Related: Deafheaven, Alcest, Nothing 1.
