Good indie pop-y rock from the UK. Fun stuff. Two female vocalists take the lead, straightforward lyrics about contemporary life while in your 20s. Music often has a party feel, some lyrics are post break-up put downs, some are bits of uncertainty, some are goofy fun. Favorites with no FCCs 2, 3, 5 FCCs on 1, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 1. Fun straight-up indie rock. FCC “lost my shit…fucked up” 2. Very wry, catchy, simple, rock 3. Calmer energy, about going to so-so parties 4. Peaceful music about being a bit resigned. FCC “Still getting off my stupid face, a fucking nightmare” 5. Fun little anthem 6. a little dreamy. FCC “not see your name or his fucking face... bioluminescent plankton shit” 7. Sweet emo pop.
