Strong release from this Bay Area metal band. They describe their music as "blackened death thrash" aka a mix of several metal genres. It's dark, heavy, fast, and loud. Vocalist/guitarist Dara Santhai's vocals are as fearsome as her guitar work. Great recording work by Greg Wilkinson.
#1 Solid mid tempo, blazing guitar runs, guttural vocals.
#2 A bit slower in parts, some old school thrash vibes in between the black metal guitar work
#3 Fast and furious, my favorite track here.
#4 Starts off with some old-school metal riffage, alternates between fast and heavy parts.
#5 Slower tempo, still quite heavy
#6 Menacing guitar intro, into fierce double bass drumming, solid mid tempo album finisher.
