“Ambient country” from the dusty plains of NYC and the rugged canyons of Billysberg. Majestic and cinematic, slow (if glacial) stripped down twangy baritone guitars, pedal steel, a Morricone whistle, all-instrumental, no-drums. Distant ambient synth washes laden with reverb, DMX delay. Recalls Eno’s Apollo works with his brother who twanged. Later Earth crossed w Angelo Badalamente (Twin Peaks/Blue Velvet), early 80’s “new age” studio production. The first tracks are named after towns encountered heading west on I-40 through drop dead beautiful open spaces on the way to Pappy and Harriet's, favorites of Timothy McVeigh and Gram Parsons alike (yay Kingman…). Lovely “late night” stuff, use as peaceful interlude or part of experimental ambient set. Tracks are surprisingly brief for such a genre (1:30-5 max). FCC clean.

No track by track as all are (surprisingly) brief, of same spirit, tone. Try any. Bill C. 3/23
