The Oakland-based Honeydrops play fun, soulful tunes, lovingly combining influences that include classic Motown, the Philadelphia sound, old-time tub & jug, and Bay Area R&B like Tower of Power. Lead singer / trumpet player Lech Wierzynski (born in Poland) channels some of the great singers with his pleasing high-register voice.
