Local producer Tomu DJ delivers a deeply personal and pleasantly varied electronic album capturing the rumbling yet serene energy of Half Moon Bay. Ambient washes and melodies squeegeed with shoegaze elements rise and fall like the tides. Her background in footwork (and other high-BPM genres) shines through, adding skippy elements to even the blissed-out tracks. Highly recommended.

*1. Pulsing intro morphs to a shiny upbeat footwork track
2. Really imaginative ambient / drum & bass hybrid
*3. Warm bleary Casio melody slowly joined by a catchy reggaeton beat
4. Calm and tranquil with a great footwork beat floating through the ether
*5. Dreamy synthesizers with fluttering footwork beats. Shifts yet again into a marchy techno rhythm. Features nicely placed snippets from a romantic voicemail
6. Lofi keyboard over a snappy beat. Downtempo, drifting, and emotional
7. Chill but bumpin, shifts into frantic drum & bass at the halfway point
