An Evening Stroll to the Garden Party

Rich and dense nocturnal ambient-drone. Ki Oni is the solo project of Chuck Soo-Hoo, who is a staff member and DJ at the great LA-based online radio station dublab. These two longform tracks evoke dazed nighttime awe. They're built from many layers of glimmering synths, and a heavy drone undertow carries them along. Great for summer reveries. RIYL Emeralds, Gas, Ana Roxanne, Patricia Wolf, KMRU, Constellation Tatsu, bladerunnercore. Both tracks are gorgeous. No words, no FCCs.

1. (15:28)—Massive but sedate ocean surf drone, soft glimmering synths.
2. (15:07)—Higher energy than the first track, with lots of fast, watery synth scales.
