Mandelbrot

Speedy, textured, trance-tinged techno from Oslo duo (and Flux Collective labelheads) Skodde. BMP ranges from 146-151, so we’re getting there fast. All tracks have a nice sheen to them and feature moodier excursions and euphoric rushes.

1. Galloping pace, a bit spacey and on-edge with a suspenseful “keep an eye out” vocal sample
*2. Really pleasant ambient and jungle field recording intro for the first 50 seconds, then a techno beat gradually grows. Warm blossoms, with a few crashing icy elements
3. Hypnotic, sci-fi tinged. Sounds true to it's title: "Malfunctioning Hyperdrive"
*4. Hard clanging beat with near-miss swooshes and amazing erhu playing. Really like this one
*5. Metallic, resonating, low-end focused, with a nice “submerged” feel
