Artist: Quannnic
Album: Stepdream
Overall: Emo album that is a fun listen with mid vocals that are often drowned out by the instruments. Reminds me of some live bands I’ve seen in the basement of Stanford co-ops, which often deafened and confused me.

Track-by-track:
1. Defense: Classic emo vibes with heavy electric guitar
2. South: *recommend* Would angry-cry to this in the shower
3. How to Hold a Knife: More up-beat, some guitar plucking, about 12 lines of lyrics in the whole song
4. Sheets: *recommend* I would be pleased if this played at a party at EBF
5. Comatose: Anger + Longing + an ambitious screamy bridge
6. Cover: Oscillates between being very quiet and very loud
7. Ache: All about how their bones are breaking because they are yearning THAT HARD— dreamiest song on album, still has a bunch of electric guitar/screaming at the end
8. Bryn Mawr- *recommend* This one kinda sounds like Joji *FCC Indecent*
9. Family Means: Moany, about family trauma, also very classically emo
10. Jophiel: 50 seconds in there is a primal scream, continues to be very intense throughout
11. Rummage- *recommend* Can hear the lyrics more clearly in this one, kind of waltz-y, second half is just instrumental
12. How Much Time to Quit— sad and slow, acoustic guitar and something that sounds like a reed?
