Hard to describe this: like the weirdest of the weird Residents as performed by Caroliner Rainbow on acid inside and efx rack. Bizarre casio-ish electronic minimalism made thick with strange pitch changes and other efx. Seriously wacked. Buried “vocs”, nothing that resembles a “band” in here at all. This might be the weirdest most twisted shit I’ve ever heard, and that’s no small statement. 1) echoey weird layered childlike voices 2) strange treated harpsichord-like melodies, noises, echoey vocs, noisy ending 3) uptempo feel, supertreated electro efx, nice words 4) grating metallic pitch changing, subliminal vocs and guits 5) chimey sound, upbeat w/retarded vocs, shouts 6) blippy weirdness 7) more super strange blippy toy-like sounds 8) like a martian casio in the engine room, “vocals” are truly sick 9) more fucked up casio weirdness, looping 10) brief strange voice and tinkling 11) real drums briefly then more weird electro blipping and tinkling 13) “cheerleaders” chanting “defense”, then off to more electro psycho.
