Asheru & Blue Black are truly some of the most slept on artists in the game today. Intelligent, thought provoking and witty, plus above average rhyme skills and golden era sounding hip hop (pre '95). Reminisent of Large Professor/Pete Rock type of vibe.
"Truly Unique" sets it off the vibe with its coolness,a nice beat.
"Is This What You Want" is a concept/warning song
2 other MC's in the record industry.
"Elevator Music" is a banger with a beautiful vocal sample and a live guitar over some thumping beat & fat bassline.
"Soon Come" is an autobiographical cut with some tight flute samples.
"Trackrunners" is a off the head freestyle joint featuring extended family members Grap Luva and underground hero J-Live tag team rhymin' over a SP1200 sounding track, nice.
