male vox, well produced but not overly slick pop, guitar/drums/bass/kbd/reverb, mellow but not the least lethargic. Lyrics kinda silly so I try not to pay attention. All tracks decent. Most pick up after a slow start
1.very brief acapella intro track, let it run into next
+2.nicely layered rock track, hints of emo
3.synth/kbds takes the lead here, slower, rock band picks it up halfway through though the mood doesn't change much.
+4.mid tempo pop, some backwards production halfway through
5.mid-tempo, Simple basic beat."winter is taking over" repeated
6.getting too "big" here, like a movie theme. ¾ time
7.keeping it anthemic
+8.continues from previous track- quiet guitar intro, harmonized vox, drums come in and stay low in the mix, some unobtrusive synths.
+9.pop hook. Vocals sorta like janes addiction here. Goes with next track
10.one minute, picks up where 9 leaves off, guys sing "aaaah" to the tune.
11.clear intro, becomes fuzzy
12.this one starts mid-fast and fuzzy and stays that way
13.heavy on the piano & echo
14.starts w/whale sounds + singing-thru-the-phone effect
