Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous … “Thirsty for new influences, the band dug deeper into 20th century minimailst composers Eno, Reich, and Riley” – and it shows. This is wet, plaintive and beautiful instrumental post rock. Raindrop reverb guitars intone small themes that build into post-MBV layers of sound. Moody, stirring, I love it naturally. –nari

1. twirling lullaby adds layer upon layer of echoing notes until it peaks at a totally sublime storm of ambience ~10:00; then drums and guitars with bite come in to rock it on home. (15:13)

2. i’m obsessed with this. simple, gentle, forlorn; lilts in 6/8 and leans on one repeated chord change. most repetitive track, most angstful climax. dissolves to empty drone by 10:48, fade out there. (15:08)

3. less cyclic & more melodic; wistful theme bends and arches over scuffling drums and hazey texture. (6:24)

4. moving atmospheres; starts of the lid, debussy nuages. (6:18)

5. bleak lament; empty haze until guitar coos bend and wail beginning around 0:54, accompanied by pipe organ; could slowly fade out when guitars drop out at 6:20, or go for the long haul: a texture shifting drone
