From Cuba, a collection of sons, full of energy, brass, and musicality. Morales has a nice, warm voice and he’s backed by a some serious horns/percussion. There’s nothing subtle here, but it’s all worth a play. *1. Big horns, nice chorus, a fast dance. *2. Lush & romantic w/great horn solos. 3. Cool percussion/bright horns. Nice vocals. 4. Slower w/a nice male/female vocal duet. 5. Rumba-Son w/big chorus/band assistance. 6. Emotional vocal, lots of energy. *7. Slower w/nice guitar work & vocals. 8. Lyrical w/harmonic chorus & good perc/brass. *9. Interesting intro/slightly bouncy. *10. Jazzy horns/perc. Cool vocals/chorus. 11. Relaxed & swaying w/a nice energy. 7/2002 | ||
