Fun carnivally/budget jam band from Oakland. Many instruments- guitar, sax, kazoo, xylophone, banjo, tambourine, usually a few people singing at once. A little off-lilter
1. arty- what's that time signature? Chords all over the place. But not too far "out there"
2.sad song
3.a bit calmer
4, 11 & 16.parodies of lounge singing. 16 ends early -2:00
5.starts w/barber shop parody, goes into pseudo-gypsy music
7.good time banjo & tuba song (about a sandwich?)
8.big buildup
10. longish track, first half mid-slow instrumental, then midtempo song that quotes "Sweet Georgia Brown"
12. Reprise of track from previous CD, fast song selling bacon, a jig too.
13.slower, about a homeless guy
14.begins w/yodeling, mid-fast minor key
15.fun xylophone & banjo instrumental, a nice break from the vocals!
17.snippet from practice room, nice to hear them without much production.
