East-bay punk legends, play well and with a sense of fun. They covered all of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumors" on one 7" and did a production of "Punk Side Story." While their covers gained them notoriety, their originals were pretty hot too! Examples of both in this live set.
.FAST straight-up punk, slows down halfway through.
.fast start, goes to easy-rock "Traffic"-like break, then fast with throaty singing again.
.mid-tempo, nice guitar picking, 70's rock feel. Tempo changes, this is like a five-part song in three minutes, pretty cool. (Styx cover?)
.has an a-capella moment where they sing "tequila", one of the weaker tracks though.
.muddy madness, more punk/70's mix
.very slight reggae feel, elements of indie rock, and of course punk
13. last minute of banter has names of people in band- low levels
.mid-slow, speeds up
.starts fast and stays fast, some mid-tempo easygoing middle bits
.skat singing punk. I recognize parts of this song, bet you will too.
.instrumental, complex
.instrumental, but for one shout near the end and a fart noise. Jazzy
.cover of a cheesy 80's tune by Steely Dan, better than the original
.safe harbor if you listen to the lyrics. silly song.
27. starts w/a sesame street song, then a metal cover of the same song
.talking about their future plans, wonder how many they did? Influences. Ends with 5:50 left, then they talk about what's next, play tracks from the library at T-5:30 on
