At age 75 this musician from Mozambique releases his first solo album. Wonderful acoustic music from this singer/guitarist. He’s got a sweet, scratchy, lived-in kind of voice and is backed by a great chorus and band. Most tracks feature guitar/perc/chorus/ and perhaps horns w/a relaxed, swaying melody. Very nice.

1. Cool melody w/nice choral work.
2. Mid-tempo w/nice flourishes from the guitar.
*3. Sweet use of sax in this bouncy song of unrequited love.
4. Mid-tempo w/sing-songy lyrics and cool percussion.
5. A bit slower w/cool bluesy harmonica & sweet vox harmony.
*6. Upbeat & fun w/bouncy percussion.
*7. Light and playful.
8. Delicate strings, warm vox/fem chorus, horns. Pretty.
*9. Happy little song about marriage.
10. Swaying w/nice use of chorus.
*11. Guitar/perc Bouncy w/cool vocals.
12. Relaxed guitar/perc/voice. Fun.
13. Bluesy harmonica, mid-tempo w/warm vocals.
14. Re-work of #4 w/more a more uptempo sound.
