LANDING - Fade in/fade out
Strange Attractors, 2002
A lot of emotion went into this performance of low frequency hums, echoed guitars, spacy synths and subdued voices.
It is neither sad nor happy, it makes you slow down and listen to yourself, you feel like drowning into sound.
It doesn't get boring and stays melodically interesting until the end (although song #5 is a little weaker than the rest of the album).
Fred's picks: 2, 4 (especially #4)
01 - 07:05 - Big hum, echoed guitars, no drums
02 - 06:21 - Same hum, guitar, slow beat, faint male singing
03 - 05:54 - a continuation of the previous song
04 - 06:02 - Layered guitars, slow drum beat, female singing, spacy synths
05 - 12:00 - same style as other songs, no singing, no drums, somewhat weaker than the rest.
