Another great Rough Guide. Surprisingly varied and full of great noises. Pick a track and random and play it, you can’t go wrong.
1. Fun, bouncy homage to rice pudding.
2. Uptempo, percussive, in Creole.
3. Cool male vocals, drums, chorus. Driving.
4. Old-fashioned w/catchy guitars & vox harmony
5. Cool percussion, warm fem. vox, delicious.
6. Swaying and jazzy. Very nice.
7. Dramatic strings/drums w/a strong Arabic sound
8. Big funk sound w/cool vocals.
9. Funky guitars, drums, bass, female vox.
10. Relaxed w/a cool make voice/chorus.
11. Reggae groove.
12. Tinny, old-fashioned polka. Kinda fun.
13. Malagasy hip-hop. Uptempo.
14. Cool retro-jazz blend for vox/guitars.
15. Relaxed reggae-influenced.
16. Hip, mid-tempo Arabic groove.
17. Female chants, a traditional song.
