Beautiful voices singing the music of Portugal. Often heartbreakingly sad, sometimes light. It’s all worth listening to, but in the interest of space, I’ll only highlight the following as being my favorites: 2. Light and swaying w/a modern fado touch. 3. Dramatic, emotional female voice w/rich orchestration. 5. Beautiful, clear female vox and pretty guitar backing. 6. Sad & quiet female vox/guitar. 7. Trad. fado w/a strong male vox. 8. Mid-tempo fado sung in an emotional soprano. 11. Cool “fado café” feel, w/faster guitar & drums. 12. Wonderful mix of female vox/guitar/viola. 15. Male vox, mid-tempo, nice folk feel. 16.
