Yes, yes, yes, it's bellydance mania! Here's the gimmick: eight of the top belly-dancers working in the United States have selected sixteen of their favorite dance songs, old and new. The results are more or less what you'd expect: high energy, booty-shaking Middle-Eastern pop, extra heavy on the percussion and with just the right edge of cheesiness. My favorite collection of this type in quite a while!

09. nothin' but drums! first-rate stuff.

11. the gipsy kings go south...
12. slower and mysterious, extra-slinky
13. intriguing, cinematic, Spanish tinge
14. anguished vocal: long intro, then fast
15. more varied but longer than #9
