Modern jazz with lots of room for freedom and untethered group soloing. Led by a sax-trombone combo, for some interesting colors. Bass and drummer add a lot of varied playing for extra depth. Really nice. 1*- Calm straight bop with aggressive soloing 2- Dark explorations. Slow at first. Faster percussion and small sneaky soloing at the halfway point. 3*- Fast blaze after nice two-horn intro ; slow ending 4- Slow 5- Quick-stepping 6- Slow, groany blaring 7*- Quiet and slinky 8- Mid/fast odd-metered toe-tapper 9- Tribal-chant flutes, relaxing | ||
