Solo trumpet in settings ranging from elegant classical music (14) to abstract sonic experimentation (1). Overall the focus is on music and tones (as opposed to "sound"-based improv). A nice departure for Ragin, who's normally found in straight bop sessions.

- Abstract improv, messing around with an echo box. Some nice fast burbling in here.
- Slow; sheet music is inside the CD case

-11 -- "Rhythm Units," composed by Wadada Leo Smith. Wandering, non-obvious melodies, played at a calm pace.
*- High pitches and small note twiddles
- ends rather abruptly
*- Interesting trills, lots of fast breathy notes
- Slow, relaxed
- Jagged patches here and there
- Starts with horselike whinneying, then calm melody

*- Echoey two-horn ballad, nice
*- Crisp, precise classical piece. Fast.
- Kind of a slow bop solo, gets faster later on
*- Light swirling overdubs. Not much to it, but it's kinda cool.
