Youthful, bop-oriented group from the east coast. This is a bit darker than their last release, with less emphasis on Klezmer scales. A cooler feel. Good stuff overall.
The band is trumpet & guitar backed by bass and drums.
- Slow/mid and dramatic trumpet. Bass intro.
*- Sad: Slow intro, plodding march, then a breezy mournful guitar phase
*- Mid/fast, cool bowed bass solo
*- Snappy mid/fast with nice guitar solo. Stumbling intro
- Soft, pretty
- Slow and dreamy, more so than 5
*- Mid/fast with a backbeat; chamber-music intro
- Floaty
