Recorded live in venues a diverse as restaurants, street jams, and private houses, this collection serves as a nice sample of what Cuban music is like outside of formal clubs. The songs are a good cross-section of contemporary sons, but overall the collection is hampered by muffled sound quality due to location recording.

1. Horn & vocal-driven son.
2. Cool percussion, but the vocals are muffled.
3. A big, brash, brassy dance..
*4. A relaxed swing.
*5. Guantanemera w/a nice live audience feel.
*6. Lively perc/flute/vocals.
7. Mid-tempo w/male vocals. A bit more fuzzy.
8. Percussion, street chorus, Afro-Cuban feel.
*9. Mid-tempo w/a playful air.
10. Relaxed & swaying.
11. Down-tempo strings, perc, vox.
12. Whiny vocals, horns, perc. Uptempo.
*13. Carnival music w/sound of the parade going by.
