Oh, Canada! Celtic fiddles, Quebecois chanson, Inuit throat-singing, and more. Some of the artists you may know (Bruce Cockburn/Natalie MacMaster), some you may not know…but it’s all good. Especially these:

1. Contemporary first-nation folk/rock song of praise. Lowkey.
2. Mid-tempo French folk/rock w/strong percussion.
3. Guitar/vocals/perc. Pleasant, kinda jazzy.
4. Cool fiddling, uptempo set of reels w/a contemporary flair.
5. Fun vocal harmonies, uptempo French folk.
6. Fem vox in Gaelic, bouncy but w/a touch of drama.
7. Cool reels for fiddle, foot stomping, Jew’s harp. Great sound
9. Slow a capella intro into wild bluegrassy romp.
12. French/Irish folk music played on trad. Chinese instr. Cool.
13. Fem Native Canadian chanting w/shakers. Nice energy.
14. Funny county ode to trees and rocks. Mid-tempo.
18. Elegant & stately ode to Canada. A capella.
20. Male vox/guitar, mid-tempo folk song about blackflies.
21. Inuit throat-singing. Short, odd, very odd, but cool.
