Riot-A-Go-Go "Radio Calisthenics" - Four solid punk songs from a local 3-piece band. It's relatively lo-fi and gritty. Two songs have a little pop feel and the other two are straight up punk. Nice guitar and bass and solid pounding drums. This has nice high energy. Vocals are female with some nice female backups. All songs are good and recommended for anyone wanting some punk.
My Picks: 1, 2
Katie P. 6/2/03

1) Uptempo punk. Kind of gritty garage sound with female vocals. A little pop feel to it since it's really quite catchy.
2) Fast! This one has a bit more of an angry feel to it. Cool pounding drums and neat little voice sample. Nice!
3) Starts with fast vocals repeating "Don't know who you are." Fast and loud and mad.
4) Uptempo, so it's a little slower than the others. Again has a little pop feel to it. Nice groovin' rock tune with plenty of SF references.
