“A musical journey through Anatolia, from East to West.” Tracks include Turkish light classical, Sufi hymns, Thracian folk dances, and various other wonders. Universally strong. 1. Mid-tempo fem vox/strings/perc. Elegant, Asian sound. *2. Perc/string/accordion instrumental. Mid-tempo, very cool. 3. Stately, mid-tempo w/dronish male vocals. Kind of dark. *4. Flutes/drums, rousing chorus, a driving folk sound. *5. Catchy blend of male voices/strings/percussion. *6. Fast, frenetic folk dance. 7. Slow solo flute, then male voices, perc. Then faster. 8. Mid-tempo w/male vox/percussion and great strings. 9. Downtempo folk dance w/a klezmer sound. 10. Languid female voc/perc/strings. 11. 5-part suite for chorus & band. Slow & elegant, then mid-tempo. After a while, you find yourself sort of caught up in it. *12. Fun and bouncy instrumental. *13. Nice percussion-driven mid/uptempo instrumental. *14. Another great instrumental folk dance.
