Kick ass electro from Ninja Tune label, great sexy rhythms and beats that hit you in the pelvis (not over the head). London artists plunder jazz, hiphop, funk, keeping it interesting and not cliché. Top notch, what you’d expect from the cream of Ninja Tune releases. Every track is bitchin’ beyond belief. 1) hip hoppy funky jazzy instrumental 2) scratchin jazzy breaks 3) wow, cool shuffle, atmospheric strings, samples 4) slightly noisier samples and overall feel, funky hop 5) slow intro, brief silence then launches into something freakazoid, crazy melodies, upbeat funky jazzy, all cylinders 6) interesting disjunct, slow melodies over fast distant feeling beats, vocal samples, more of an experimtal feel, evolves to a decidedly jazzy tone 7) rappy w/ 2 quick FCCs 8) ride cymbal beat and feel a la Amon Tobin, spacey cool stuff 9) super cool funky step beats and strange samples 10) disjunct world flavor | ||
