Big band that mixes a traditional jazz sound with some modern touches like burning blues-rock guitar (#8 especially). Overall straightforward and accessible ... Only track #1 features wild free abandon. Nice tight playing throughout.

The band's sound is, well, *big* and has a lot of punch, but the slower tracks dip into obvious melody that gets cheesy.

*- Big free mess, eventually coalesces into swaying, cinematic composition
- Gentle; big cinematic intro, calm guitar solo
- Mid/fast with a cool, calm pace. Very "big-band" sounding.
- Mellow R&B. Sappy.
*- Fast and brutal
- *FCC* "shit" 4 or 5 times starting at -6:24 .... Hip '70s funk, mid/fast, w/some singing and quasi-rapping
- Fast
*- Fast and snappy, with a heart-pounding danceable riff near the end.
- Fast-paced chill-out ending, w/electric piano and melodic sax lead
