THOMAS MAPFUMO – Toi Toi Anonym, 2003 Wow, Mapfumo's really been churning out the records lately. Now working out of Oregon, the Zimbabwean king of chimurenga music continues to do what he does best: heavily layered guitar & mbira jams from his large band (the Blacks Unlimited), with socially conscious lyrics. Recommended, as always. All tracks good.
