(No, *not* Frank Zappa.) Jazz trio: sax/piano/drums, improvised pieces that derive directly from traditional jazz ideas but stick to abstract forms. Nicely rambling quality to most of the pieces, which are short.
1- Midtempo, aggressive
2*- Fast, tumbling
3*- Free-jazz blowout, fast
5- Slow, w/high fluttering sax
6- Fast, a bit firey
7*- Slow, smoky tenor, scattery drums/bass
8- Slow ramble
10- Midtempo ramble
11*- Medium; maybe more on the tumbly/firey side
Fast - 3,6,11
Medium - 1,2,4,9,10
Slow - 5,7,8,12
