Ninja tune is branching out a lot lately but this one smacks of yesteryear: chill funky downtempo with moments of Amon Tobin lounge-retro sampling. Decidedly more organic overall though, not so much “electro”. Really nice chill sexy funky stuff, perfect for coming down to or lounging around in bed with. Or studying. Or doing the dishes. Nice stuff. 1) mellow swing, semi lounge feel 2) slightly funkier feel, upbeat 3) cool piano, effects, chill 4) brief, retro lounge feel for sure, swingy, with soul singer samples 5) latin flare with congas, at first, mostly just semi funky 6) chill slow, retro lounge samples 7) bouncy funky near hip hop beat, acoustic guitar loops, peppy 8) upbeat funky with more retro lounge sampling 9) slow ¾ sexy feel 10) FCC in voice sample at 3 minutes, chill funky 11) more funky chillness | ||
