More great stuff from the series. This one from 1966 focuses on religious music (‘rhyming spirituals” and anthems). Read the notes for more info…listen to track one and you’ll be sold. Great stuff, really. **1. Truly amazing gospel track. Wow! *2. Call-response sermon song. 3. Much too-short track w/cool male lead vox & great chorus. *4. Wonderful bluesy-guitar and growling vocals. 5. A capella male vox in a secular work song. 6. Three male voices (great bass), in a gospel anthem. 7. Male/female vocal duet. Mid-tempo w/guitar. *8. Strong vocals, mid-tempo gospel. 9. Three male vocals, gets more melodic as it goes on. 10. A capella male vox w/a free-flowing melody. *11. 3-part male harmonies on the stories of Daniel & Noah. *12. Wonderful spiritual w/male/female voices & guitar. 13. Great, growling bass in this mid-tempo song of praise. *14. Starts slow, gets progressively crazy, fast, energetic. 15. Tragic song of farewell to the world. Wonderful. *16. Female/male harmonies.
