IRON & WINE - THE SEA & THE RHYTHM EP - subpop
Iron & Wine is one manÉ Sam Beam.. HeÕs from Florida and that swampy sound seeps right inÉ Lo-fi Simon & Garfunkle or Crosby Stills & Nash vocals with earthy slides and finger-picked steel & acoustic guitars. No Drums at all! Great use of banjos as wellÉ Beautiful haunting melodies and dark themes. This CD is a collection of songs leftover from The Creek Drank the Cradle sessions (great fucking record!), but these are defiantly NOT any less magical. Stunningly spooky and moving..
