These experimental beats rock me so hard that my ears are still fucking bleeding! (On a side note, I’m now reviewing downtempo and ambience as if they were metal albums). The raw, jagged rhythms are soaked in the blood and gore of past artists who have influenced Rusuden such as Autechre and U-Ziq! Listening to these hypnotic melodies and gnarled ambience got me so pumped up I almost gouged out my roommate’s eyes and sacrificed them to the dark lord which this music is most certainly dedicated to. Every single track on this album is so (dope) fucking amazing you’ll grow an extra testicle each time you hear them! Seriously, this album rules!
1. harsh distorted beats and cutesy melody
2. bass-driven groove with funky beats
3. lots of laser gun noises and backwards synths
4. short and creepy ambient awesomeness, pretty clarinet
5. real autechre-style breaks with some weird talking sample and great synths
6. synth whip noises and spacey melodies – nice groove
7. laid-back beats with some great melodies, particularly at the end
8. funky bubbly synth with an okay beat underneath
9. pretty ambience with breathy pads
10. first half ambience, beats join a nice happy melody 2 mins in
11. This funky riff blows me off my feet – kickass bass line too!
12. more cool rhythms, nice melodies, and catchy grooves
