A mix of composed tracks and purely abstract improvisations. Kind of a slow feel overall, with some extra energy on tracks like 1 and 7.

Doesn't always tread the jazz line; even the composed tracks venture into noise-oriented territory, thanks largely to Dorner's fondness for making mechanical wind-tunnel sounds from his trumpet.

Those seeking "normal" jazz might be pleased with track 7. Noise fans should head straight to #4.

COMPOSED
2- Long tones, a glacial composition. Be patient.
3- Very slow, gentle. Gets quiet.
5- Slow, melodic, with abstract segment
7*- Mid/fast; spritely and swingy
9*- Perky, w/slow sparse soloing
10- Slow, pretty, lush

IMPROV
1*- A healthy fast pace after a slow start
4- Nonmusical growling, fierce in spots. Opens with slow whines.
6- Slow chaotic clutter; choppy "improv" feel
8*- Quiet, slinking; quite musical sounding
