SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE ¥ Compathia. (holy mountain) Six organs is Ben Chasny, and Ben Chansy is brilliant! Under the alias Six Organs, Ben creates beautifully psychedelic-folk sounds. Some like to call this "Free Folk", and his past releases (which are brilliant) definitely fit that title. But this, his fourth release on Holy Mountain is more vocally driven with less floaty experimental sections. But that doesn't make the record any less beautiful! All songs have an eastern, raga-like feel. Dominated by 12-string acoustic guitar and hand percussion and all recorded onto cassette four track. Six Organs have slowly become one my favorite bands around. PLAY!!!! ÐthE bAWD of eUPHONy

2** Muted Guitars and hushed vocals. Cool solo, eerie.
3** Standout track! Beautiful Mellon collie song. Builds to an explosive solo section. PLAY!!
4 Dark and moody. Picks up in intensity. Far-out.
5 Instrumental, solo guitars. Beautiful and serene.
6* Another vocal number.. shimmering bells, beautiful guitar and vocal melody. Breaks off into a freer section at the end. awesome! 7** This song is a continuous chant. Starts with vocals then layers of drone and guitars build underneath
8** Longest song and most free. Starts with grooving guitar and percussion and builds with and explosive electric guitar feedback solo later in the song. Breaks down and comes back together. PLAY!
