Sonny Smith -- This is my story, This is my song
Sweet, touching country/folk/singer-songwriter -- Local boy who writes flowing, meandering story-songs that draw heavily on old-time country but somehow mixes in elements from jazz and lounge (stand-up bass, brushed drums, vibes on some songs). Low, gravelly voice like Dylan or Waits but much more melodic. Genuine and sweet -- I really liked this album -- PICS: 5, 3, 2, 7, 8
