Trio with Rob Brown on sax and Joe Morris on acoustic bass! (Morris is best known as a free-jazz guitarist with lightning-fast solos).
Fully improvised in a free-jazz vein. Never seems to cut loose totally the way Morris' guitar albums can, although is bass playing is quite agile and fast on many tracks. #2 and #5 cohere the most, although that's on kind of a shallow level (they're fast and therefore easier to get into).
Probably warms up on repeated listens, as your ears embrace the relatively restrained style Brown sticks to.
1- Slow, comfortable pace; slows even more, less comfortably
2- Perky mid/fast
3- Slow, with flute
4- Disjointed mid/fast pace
5- A sparkling fast groove
6- Warbly solo sax, into quiet wanderings
7- Mid/fast
