Nothing Special

Everyone’s favorite spoofy irreverent silly hilarious sample artist PLU teams up with WFMU dj Kenny G for some truly weird stuff. The first track is worth the price of the whole album, easily (and track 11, the redux). Originally broadcast on WFMU, sounds like they pulled a bunch of cheesy soundtracks, 70’s hits, and messed with them terribly, adding twisted voiceovers. Great stuff, though taken as a whole can tend to get tedious and really annoying. If you want a lesson in PLU though, look to her non-collaboration material (see Recyclopedia brittanica). Freak out your audience with this stuff, play track one and let the fun ensue.
