Hot middle eastern music, traditional and original. Upbeat, intricate, rockin’ out a bit . . . all instrumentals, a couple have muttered vox. Stringed instruments, LOTS of dumbek, some electrified grooviness thrown in. *1. * hot upbeat, fast-paced, complex melodic rhythms 2. midtempo, stringed solo over dumbek 3. 2-dumbek duet 4. starts w/ soulful solo, then rocks out 5. rolling dumbek, repeated muttery vox *6. * slow, quiet, tense, rocks out w/ buzzy electric distortion *7. * jingly “riq” perc, drumming w/ rhythmic spoken duet 8. jingly perc, tonal drums *9. * stringed solo, smoky acoustic -> rock power ballad *10. * stately stringed solo over one drum, melodic n’ slow. | ||
