For over 30-years the Weavers have performed traditional and original Scottish music with style, flair, and energy. This latest release is typically strong, with good vocal harmonies and some terrific work on pipe, guitar, flute, and fiddle. Funny liner notes too, which is great since you can’t understand what they sing…not that it matters much, because it sounds great. 1. Set of 4 dances, very well played. *2. Male voices harmonize beautifully in this reflective ballad. 3. Lovely slow reel.. 4. Uptempo traditional song w/a fun bounciness. 5. A bright jig followed by 2 more joyful tunes. 6. Sweet, nostalgic love poem (Robert Burns). *7. Midtempo folk song w/a catchy sound. *8. Beautiful slow air. 9. Slow and romantic, original tune in the old style. 10.
