A project based on Miles' fusion period, but with a subtler feel. Led by vibes and soft horns (Donny McCaslin on sax, Ingrid Jensen on trumpet) for a gentle kind of '60s/'70s sound. Tracks have accessible jazz heads and wide open, exploratory soloing. Nice.
- Mid/fast with slinky, cool lines and a "free" middle
- Soft; gently mid/fast
- Upbeat, brisk
- Sneaky mid/fast chiming over insistant pattering rhythm. Quietly burbly vibes segment
- Floaty start, into loose janging jam. Laid back feel, but exciting sense of adventure
- Small, bluesy. Cute.
- Bright, loose jam
- Relaxed, loose
