Hauntingly beautiful sad. Will Oldham (Palace, Bonnie Prince Billy) delivers 4 instrumental pieces. All variations of the same theme. Acoustic, epically drone-y, non-resolving repetitive guitar balads. Slight touches of exotic folk psychedelic noise. Will Oldham gets obstinately minimalistic and biblical. Listen, cry, purge your demons out. Or just curl and dream sweetly.|
Play 1, 3, 4
1. Soft, laid back and melancholic. Pretty and circular.
2. Same theme but darker and more dissonant.
3. The "cheeriest" of the four.
4. Sustained organ notes; static noise; sparse psychedelic notes (remind of the Doors and 60s "psych").
